Web24 nov. 2024 · connected to a booted PC it charges (same for the lightning bolt symbol) connected to the same PC while the PC is in standby mode: the lightning bolt appears for a fraction of a second then disappears and it does not charge. It is the same cable and USB plug as in case 2.

WebAll that showed up on the battery status icon (in the right upper corner of the screen) was an empty battery symbol with a lightning bolt. Tried charging it for several hours with no luck. It works when it is attached to external power (car or wall socket). It will not come on on its' own. I'm assuming the battery is defective?
