Of course nearing the end of the horror I discovered the best method: get a good angle grinder, best is with stabilization and rpm-control, and a big knotted wire-brush attachment (pictures, again, in my thread). Web29 mei 2014 · Yes, heat gun and scraper is the way, though if it's been worked into bad welds that haven't been planished or tidied up, you'll have to get the wire brush on it. Don't heat it too much, just so it gets soft enough to scrape off - if it starts bubbling, back off a bit.
