WebLiberal means supportive of the personal freedoms and liberties we enjoy as citizens of a liberal democracy including new freedoms (LGBT marriage, for instance). Conservative means believing in traditional or historical freedoms and reticence to use government power to expand our freedoms (LGBT marriage, for instance).
