I applied earlier today for the Citi Double Cash, and was denied so I called their recon line and was told to call back in 24 hours because their system would have the denial reason (s) by then. WebI applied for the Citi Custom Cash after posting here asking for my approval odds and being told I had good ones. I was after a grocery card. Wound up being declined because my current card limits weren’t high enough. I have never seen that denial reason anywhere else. I’m not sure what they expected to see.
