Anyway, having plugged it in and installed the latest drivers, I go to use it in a Skype call and it works for a moment then disconnects. The blue indicator light just flashes and goes off. After a few seconds, the webcam reconnects, but it's not ... WebMar 4, 2024 · Yes, plug it in and it will work, sort of. But not so easily for everyone. Scan the web and you will find that the c920, while an awesome piece of hardware, lacks software to make use of it for the mac and many people mystified as to why it won't work as they expect and very little that you can do to control features that are available on the windows side.

WebThere is a version of the C920e that ships with the mic enabled by default but that one does not come with the"Teams Certified" logo as it doesn't meet the proper requirements in that configuration. Once you make the one time switch in LogiTune you can uninstall LogiTune and the mic remains enabled. I agree it's a hassle though. WebJan 22, 2024 · Reboot PC - check mic is seen again in device manager, then turn back on "mic access for device" and turn back on "allow app access for your mic". Mic was then fully functional. BTW two of my windows 10 PCs had the same problem with C920 and both were fixed by the above process.
